I think National Defense should be our Number One concern when voting! McCain has a military background and survived being a prisoner of war. We may not have a much of choice but we have to choose from what's written on the ballots.
So does Qbama. You need to look at other things other than military!!

I agree that we need a do over. The choices are not great on either side. The hesitation to pick a running mate also makes me wonder if they will hesitate in emergency situations.
Neither one will even make a fair president. McCain still lives in an old world where force is the answer. Obama still lives in a vague world allowing himself to be pushed around politically. We don't even have a lesser of two evils to choose.
For me, it comes down to the abortion issue. Obama is pro, McCain is not, so I'm for McCain. We must stop killing unborn babies!

I am ashamed to admit that I was once a Republican. They have tried and nearly succeeded in destroying this country. We have alienated most of our friends in the world. They may still try to create WWIII in the next ferw months.

I would choose neither. If only Al Gore would run again! At least he realized the importance of the internet, technology, and the environment. He was also proactive in each area.
